Inkubus Sukkubus

|
Inkubus Sukkubus were formed by
Tony McKormack and Candia from the ashes of "Children of the Moon".
During the winter of 1990 the band entered the studio to record
three tracks for a 12" single "Beltaine", " Midnight Oueen" and
"Trinity" and in December 1991 Tommy Vance began to play the "Beltaine"
EP on the Radio One Rock Show.
Inkubus Sukkubus began to play live dates in March 1992 at which
point they compiled all of the Children of the Moon material onto
a cassette album entitled "Beltaine". Soon they were being hailed
as Britain's premiere Pagan band.
September 1992 saw the band return to the studio to record "Belladonna
and Aconite" which was released on cassette on October 31st of
that year. Their popularity continued to grow and though their
material was only available through mail order, "Belladonna and
Aconite" sold very well.
In February 1993 Nottingham based NIGHTBREED Records offered the
band a deal. This was followed by a favourable review in Kerrang!
magazine. which in turn prompted interest from Pagan Records.
The band eventually declined the offer from NIGHTBREED. though
the C.D. version of "Belladonna and Aconite" bears their label
and catalogue number.
In June Incubus Succubus auditioned for Pagan Records. which resulted
in contracts being signed in early July. Work began on a new album
entitled "Wytches".
Inkubus Sukkubus can be seen headlining
many pagan festivals in the UK and abroad
