Belinda Carlisle

As the lead singer of the definitive female rock band of the 1980s, Belinda Carlisle and the Go-Go's released their double-platinum debut abum Beauty and the Beat and became the first girl group to top the US charts. When the band disbanded in 1985 Belinda released a string of successful hits including the number one "Heaven is a place on Earth." In April 1992, Belinda gave birth to James Duke Mason, her son with film producer/husband Morgan Mason, they left LA and moved to France in 1994, settling last year in Great Britain, in a Victorian home in the English countryside.
