All About Eve

All About Eve were formed by Julianne Regan and Tim Bricheno after the demise of Gene Loves Jezebel in the early 1980's. After 3 well received singles, The Mission manager Tony Perrin signs them and a deal is struck with Phonogram Records. Their single "Martha's Harbour" earnt them a place in the UK top ten and many new fans.
At the start of the 90's, however All About Eve's popularity seemed to be waning and Tim left to join Rock band XCNN and The Sisters of Mercy.
A few months later, Phonogram and All About Eve parted company. They were soon picked up by MCA who released just one album "Ultraviolet".
After being dropped by MCA, All About Eve called it a day in early 1993.
